What it is for

A couple of examples:

  • A sales representative can use mySell to present what the company does and its products.
    • The rep can then send share the boxxd presentation on a stick or send it via email (depending on its size).
    • The customer can easily navigate the boxxd via the Home page.
  • A one man company can use it to create a mini website.
  • A team lead can place the boxxd on a shared file server and use it as an instant blog within a organisation.
  • A congress speaker can take mySell as a portable app on their mobile or stick and at the congress play it - with integrated presentation console so that the major screen can be beamed to the hall.

Working functions

All contents can be written in plain text with Markdown syntax.

The apps take the plain text and creates a slideshow that runs in a browser.

Use

The slideshow can be run offline - no internet connection is needed.

The boxxd can be zipped, and be shared with others.

Extra tools needed.

A plain text editor.

Tweaking

Depending on your browser you might need to change a configuration setting. This is detailed in the boxxds Home page.

Time to get started

The time needed to get started is Less than an hour:

  • Install the boxxd by extracting the zip.
  • Click on Home to see the introductory page.
  • Throw the Home page into a (important) plain text editor such as Notepad and start editing.
  • Watch the changes live in the browser by refreshing the browser.
